FAQs

1.1 Do you service hub gears?
Yes! We don’t shy away from what some bike shops think of as complicated repairs. We service hub gears (including Sturmey Archer, Shimano Nexus, Alfine and Rohloff) - great for Dutch bikes or Bromptons.
1.2 Do you service Bromptons?
Yes - we are happy to service all models of Brompton. Being a Brompton Recommended Store, we have a full range of Brompton parts and can take on bigger jobs including seatpost sleeve and hinge replacements.
1.3 Which parts do you stock?
We sell Kryptonite and Abus locks, Schwalbe, Pirelli and Continental tyres, Shimano, Sram, Campagnolo etc. We also sell lights, racks, pedals, brake pads, bar tape and handlebar grips...and pretty much everything else you’d expect. If we don’t have something in stock, we can order it in for you.
1.4 How long will it take to service my bike?
If you think your bike needs a lot of work, it’s best to call in advance to book in a service in advance. Drop your bike off in the morning and we’ll have it back with you at the end of the day. Or if we think it’ll take longer and we need to keep it overnight, we’ll lend you a bike so that you’re not at the mercy of London transport!
1.5 How much will my repair cost?
We won’t do work on your bike that we think is unnecessary - so we’ll do a bicycle health check before we recommend a service. As for repairs, we will check the bike over and call you with a quote before we do any work so don't worry about unexpected costs!
1.6 How do I know what you’re doing to my bike?
We’re happy to run through what we’re doing for your repair with you in detail - and explain any technical language.
